Personal Information: Larry was born on October 26, 1947, in Slayton, Minnesota. He graduated from Worthington Public High School in 1965 and worked for nearly 15 years in restaurant management. He graduated from Southwest State University with a degree in hotel, restaurant and institutional management in 1977. He graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law at Vermillion in 1979 with a J. D. degree. After graduation from law school, he was a founding partner in the law firm of Flynn & Lucht, Worthington, Minnesota. That firm eventually, with the addition of Joel Wiltrout and Todd Ahlquist, became known as Lucht, Wiltrout & Ahlquist. Larry is married to Le, a college Spanish instructor, and they have three children. Hobbies include fishing, computers and collecting music and music memorabilia. He has served on various community and regional boards and committees as well as being an adjunct faculty member of Minnesota West Community and Technical College teaching business law.
